Further training abroad

There are high and low moments associated with lecturing abroad about how to awaken interest in science using toys and simple experiments.
Just getting through airport security with bags full of batteries, wires, toy chickens, and liquids in all the colors of the rainbow is a challenge. But usually, if I just let the airport staff try some experiments, they let me and my mysterious baggage through.
